Yesterday I was away from home all day and I asked someone to attend to my chams and they left the cage open and my 3 month veiled escaped .. they have an outdoor setup so she's now lost in the wild...
Yesterday i purchased "yoshi" a baby veiled cham..hes super tiny but very active and shedding already. Excited to add to the fam. He already has a huge mansion compared to where he was.. So now i have 2 chams.. Koopa and yoshi ... Ill add more pictures soon!
after a visit to my local petsmart for crickets.. i saw a baby vieled and i decided to build another cage and adopt another cham.. cant wait .. excited!!:D
Im happy to say that koopa ate his first worm today.. Well .. His first 3 worms.. I just came home and i was showing off koopa to my friends from out of town and i put a worm on my hand thinking he wouldnt eat it and he did.. Then he ate 2 more off my hand.. I thought it was the coolest thing...
i noticed for about a week already that koopa is just staying in one spot in his enclosure.. i have yet to see him explore his cage in about a week. i been kinda busy working alot so its possible he is when im not here but im not sure.. any suggestions?:confused:
I'm almost done... today I put in the live plants.. I added a nice red hibiscus and a shafellera (probably spelled that wrong)lol and I also added a hanging pothos... it looks great in there and even feels better... all I need now is a mistingsystem... saving up!.. but what else might be a good...
So now that i built koopa a new huge cage.. I was wondering if i should put more crickets to up his chance of eating them.. Right now i throw like 5 in there and they are spread out .. Would it be better now to put more??

I have had my senegal in a glass tank and hear so many bad things about having them in glass.. Especially cause its made for fish.. Today i decided its time to upgrade.. So i drew out some blueprints to make a cage of my own.. Im gnna do it 6ft tall and 2.5ftw x 2.5ftl ... Screened enclosure...
ok so i bought some giant mealworms to try to give her something different.. i put them in her tank but the only problem is she never comes down to the bottom and the worms never climb up.. so im not sure if she just dont notice them yet or what. and she refuses to let me put her on the bottom...
