thanks .. tomorrow morning first thing im going to look for a tree and plants.. another problem i had is having to mist so much. right now im having to spray like 4 or 5 times a day.. just to keep the levels good.. untill i get enough money to get a mister does anyone have any suggestions on...
ok well starting tomorrow morning im gonna put a lil more in there.. and he has pathways to most of the upper part .. but i spent alot of money making the cage so im waiting till tomorrow to get some more cash to buy him a tree/plant to put in there. so he could get everywhere.. cause as of now...
his cage is 5 ft... and 2.5 ft w by 2.5ft L.. i just think that he might not be eating thm cause they seem to be where he cant really reach.. i just think if thers more he might have better chances//??
and thanks.. i named him after my favorite artist..CHAMILLIONAIRE. AKA KING KOOPA
So now that i built koopa a new huge cage.. I was wondering if i should put more crickets to up his chance of eating them.. Right now i throw like 5 in there and they are spread out .. Would it be better now to put more??
AFTER WORRYING ABOUT KOOPA BEING IN A GLASS "AQUARIUM" AND HIS HEALTH.. I DECIDED TO BUILD HIM A CASTLE. SCREEN ON FRONT TOP LEFT AND RIGHT..AND HALf SCREEN ON BOTTOM.. I STILL NEED TO BUY PLANTS TO FILL IT BUT THIS IS WHERE IN AT SO FAR...
I have had my senegal in a glass tank and hear so many bad things about having them in glass.. Especially cause its made for fish.. Today i decided its time to upgrade.. So i drew out some blueprints to make a cage of my own.. Im gnna do it 6ft tall and 2.5ftw x 2.5ftl ... Screened enclosure...
ok so i bought some giant mealworms to try to give her something different.. i put them in her tank but the only problem is she never comes down to the bottom and the worms never climb up.. so im not sure if she just dont notice them yet or what. and she refuses to let me put her on the bottom...
ive been doing lots of research and im getting pretty sure its a senegal.. is there any advice anyone wants to give that has experience with this species. i was thinking of putting a small reptile waterfall in his cage.. any suggestions whether its a good or bad idea.. im a beginner chameleon owner.
I dnt think it has the "lump" that identifies as a male. So I also think its a female.. I just wanna make sure of the species... and at what age do they start color changing? Is it possible to tel how old he/she is?
I just bought this little guy but noone could tell me what kind of chameleon he is..I'm thinking veiled or panther but I dnt know much.. can someone help me?
