well i originally named koopa after my favorite artist. "chamillionaire" and then when i bought my veiled.. i wanted to theme the names so yoshi fit with koopa.. i plan on getting a jacksons and naming him "bowser"
Yesterday i purchased "yoshi" a baby veiled cham..hes super tiny but very active and shedding already. Excited to add to the fam. He already has a huge mansion compared to where he was.. So now i have 2 chams.. Koopa and yoshi ... Ill add more pictures soon!
after a visit to my local petsmart for crickets.. i saw a baby vieled and i decided to build another cage and adopt another cham.. cant wait .. excited!!:D
Im happy to say that koopa ate his first worm today.. Well .. His first 3 worms.. I just came home and i was showing off koopa to my friends from out of town and i put a worm on my hand thinking he wouldnt eat it and he did.. Then he ate 2 more off my hand.. I thought it was the coolest thing...
man your good. :D . lol.. ok im gonna go to petsmart and buy some more vines and foliage... i'll raise the shaffalera higher too.. hopefully that will do..

his eyes are open and he is eating too.. drinking i havent seen him drink in a while either.. i have a dripper in there and it drips on to a leaf that is reachable but havent seen him...
yes its right under .... his basking spot reaches only about 80 - 90 degrees. his cage is full screen in my room where its cool so im thinking maybe the bulb needs to be upgraded.. right now its only a 75 watt.. and the rest of the cage is like a 5 degree difference.. i just built him a new...
i noticed for about a week already that koopa is just staying in one spot in his enclosure.. i have yet to see him explore his cage in about a week. i been kinda busy working alot so its possible he is when im not here but im not sure.. any suggestions?:confused:
The pothos is hung from a screw that goes into the framing... and the cup is my homemade driping system lol. I usually putwater with a couple icecubes in there and as the melt it drips.. it works for now..
I'm almost done... today I put in the live plants.. I added a nice red hibiscus and a shafellera (probably spelled that wrong)lol and I also added a hanging pothos... it looks great in there and even feels better... all I need now is a mistingsystem... saving up!.. but what else might be a good...
i was worried about using branches outside because of possible parisites or whatever.. but branches without the leafs sound ok.. and i got a small potho going in the top corner but its small still.
