    Enclosure Floor Board

I don't know how to post a link. In the last few day someone posted a DIY enclosure. It was really nice. He purchased a vinyl decal to cover the floor. It was a picture of the jungle floor. I thought it was real roots a leaves. The thread was from member Banksy and he got the floor from Canvas...

    Dark spot on Chams nose

He's an Ambilobe. I got him from Chameleon Paradise. Sired by Candy Cane and moms sire is Primo. He's very blue and teal but he has some red under his chin. It's great fun to see his colors come in.

New to thread and Chameleon World, Check my setup out!

Don't get a monsoon. Heard a lot of members complaining. Mist king is the top one to get, everyone seems to be very happy with it. I purchased a Climist. It was recommended by Bruce from Chameleon Paradise where I purchased my Panther. It was 99$ from Coastal Silkworms. I've been very happy...

    Dark spot on Chams nose

Ok, thanks. He's only 7 month so he's been really pristine so far. It made me nervous.

    Plant question

It's best to get it all out if you can. It could have heavy fertilizer that will get misted and drip out of the pot. Ready for you Cham to drink.

    Dark spot on Chams nose

Yes, that's what it looks like. Do you think it requires a visit to the vet or should I just watch it to see if it worsens. I hate to stress him if it's not needed.

    Dark spot on Chams nose

I noticed this dark spot on the left of my Chams nose today. I tried to get a better picture but he's afraid of my phone. Any ideas?

A pothos sitting on that ledge in the left corner would fill it out nicely.

Much better. You will get an idea later if it's enough. Your Cham should be able to reach everywhere in the enclosure without walking on the screen. When you put your Cham in there, if he's struggling to reach branches. Add more.

    Unknown Sickness

Update. Very sad news but not surprising. I found a place to take them quicker than I could get there but he said the chameleon died this morning. I asked if he would still take the gecko in he said he would talk to his sister about it. I hope he still takes the gecko in for treatment, the lady...

    buying a flap neck chameleon

I always find that the packages throw in a bunch of stuff you don't need for chameleons. Like substrate. I find it better to price it together myself. That way I'm not wasting money on stuff I don't need. The best advice really is from pgr7. Do a lot of reasearch. Chameleons are not difficult to...

That's awesome! Very unique. I've seen so many excellent DIY enclosures lately. I'm so jealous. I'm not a handy girl.

Careful with the large crickets. I'd do medium at 4 months. The crickets should be the size between his eyes. They also don't make any noise. Try a better variety of feeders. Silkworms, hornworms, Phoenix worm, roaches and blue bottle flies would be a good start. At this age feed him as much as...

New to thread and Chameleon World, Check my setup out!

I just moved my guy into his big boy enclosure. The plants haven't had a chance to fill in so it will have more foliage in a few weeks. This should give you an idea about the branches though. Pretty much vertical branches from top to bottom.

Newbie Chameleon futur owner , helps and tips.

Silkworms, hornworms, Phoenix worms, butterworms for a treat not every day. Skip the mealworms they are not s healthy option. Super worms tend to get mixed reviews from members. I don't personally feed them but they are able to be gut loaded. Maybe someone who uses them could comment.

    Worm castings

Ha ha, well sadly we don't have any of those here. I'll try online.

    Bugs!?!?!?!?

Try it a few times and a few different ways. My guy just stared at them in the cup. I kept trying for about a week and no go. He almost seemed afraid of them. I let one loose on the screen and he would always move away when it got close. The only way that worked was tong feeding. I guess I...
