1. He is a male blue bar ambilobe panther. He is 8 months old and has been in my care for 9 or 10 days now. He gets handled less than 5 minutes a day... some days not at all. With the exception of today because we went on a two hour round trip drive to the vet.
2. I have offered him crickets...
I would just like to say that I do not think any cham is mainstreeming. I never actually saw a cham until I got mine. lol. I chose mine though because it seems that the majority of people on this site have experiance with panthers..... so it would be much easier to get advice. And He is Super...
So, as some of you know I have been having some troubles getting my cham to eat. I have had him for a few days now and he has not been eating much. I have been really worried about his health and have recieved a lot of support both from people on the site and from Panther16. Dispite my attempts...
Have you ever heard of one of these injuring a cham?? The problem I am having is that my cage is so large that I can not let any thing loose in the cage because I will not be able to find it to remove it at night.... Don't know what to do.. Also... Please look at my cricket post.
SO I have heard mixed things about leaving crickets in the cham cage all of the time. I have heard that you can not do this because the crickets will all bite the chameleon and then I have heard that only the BLACK crickets will bite the chameleon and that the brown ones like the ones they sell...
I hate you guys so much right now. lol.
Just have to throw this in. Last time I had a tang I tied garlic cented seaweed to a frag plug and tied a long piece of fishing string to it. Then me and the kids would sit across the room like we were fishing! Great bonding.
I have got to have 30 differant corals in my 30 gal..... Only one fish though... I am changing my fish stock up so I left one fish in the tank to keep producing the amonia until I can figure out what else to put in it. I am leaning toward black clowns and a yellow tang for contrast...
What the crap!! you guys are freaks of nature!!! I have not fed my tank in a week because I have been to bussy with my chameleon and I am affraid of the effect of the feeding because I am overdue for a water change. It's past the first of the month! F it. I'm feedin tomorrow. lol
That does...
If I don't change my water at least once a month my tank gets pissed at me. My tank sucks. I want a tank that isn't so damn needy. I have never heard of not changing the water! Never.
