I wouldn't run the fan all of the time, just for a few minutes about a half hour after misting... just long enough to dry the floor. Then the timer will kick it off again.... It's rather small and not verry powerful.... Here is my train of thought on why I thought it would not be harmful...

I am pretty new at this too.... just regergitating info from other long time members... I would also recomend more branches or vines so that he can easily go anywhere he wants... they like lots of choices. Cage looks awesome :)

Wait, just saw that you have a dripper system, that alone will not be sufficient moisture for a panther. You'll want to keep the humidity up around 60%

1.Those plants look familiar to me... I think I almost got one but did not see them on the safe plant list... That alone does not make them not ok... but I would deffinatelly verify all of your plants before introducing the cham. 2.Looks like a large cage, how long is your UVB bulb? I think...

because the thought of thousands of 3 inch roaches in my cupboards, walls and furniture scares me...........I hear that once you have roaches loose in your house, you can NOT get rid of them.... at least not without taking extreem drastic measures. I would like to get like 4 adults that produce...

Also, if you decide to go this rout, your misting nozzels will never clog. This is because there will be nothing in your water to clog your nozzels.

I am trying to get some dubia roaches to breed... but I am worried about if a couple of them escape and then I have giant south american roaches infesting my house!! It freaks me out. So, today the vet told me that you can buy sterile feeder roaches... so, if these ones escape, they CAN NOT...

If you want to use pure water... and I believe it is the best. Buy a Reverse Osmosis unit. I believe you can pick one up for like a hundred bucks. The bests place to get them are online saltwater fish stores. You hook it up next to your hot water heater and pick up a trash can or another barrel...
