She's beautiful!

I've had my female Jackson's Chameleon for about two weeks now. I know that Jackson's give birth to live young. Are their any indicators of pregnancy, if I have no idea if she's been with a male in the past? I'm starting to notice that she's somewhat plump when relaxed, is she just fat or could...

It looks very nice in there. What do you use for water? Do you have a drip or do you mist?

I set up the 24"x24"x48" cage this week for my female Jackson's and she loves it. I filled it with plants and vines. She seems so tiny in there but that's how they feel in nature, I think she's thankful for her new home :). Good choice on the larger one btw.

Ok thanks for the advice, I'll just get a dripper and continue misting her.

I live in the city off of Lakeshore drive on the north. Kirby has an awesome view of the lake. lol :)

Sorry guys there is definitely a UVB bulb, I just didn't have it with the picture because I just finished setting the cage up. For now I'm misting and I have a cup dripping until I get a commercial dripper. Do you guys keep a water dish in there in case the Chameleon decides to drink from it?

Thanks Juju. It's a bathroom toiletry holder. I've also attached branches from it, there will also be room to put a mealworm feeding dish at one of the lower levels.

Through the help of some awesome forum members It was recommended to me that Kirby's first cage wasn't ideal. In order to provide her with the best life I quickly made changes. Kirby has her x-large reptibreeze all set up with tons of live plants and crawling spaces. She seems so happy as soon as I put her in!

I just opened it up and the bottom piece is broken in the corner :(. I'm super pissed!!!! Someone warned me about this when they had theirs shihpped, ugh!!!!

Your Chameleon should be just fine. Consider it an "organic" treat....It's true that you shouldn't collect and feed insects to your chameleon that are believed to be tainted with pesticides, one fly should hopefully be ok.

Sorry I had a long day. I guess what I'm trying to ask is the following............If schedule the heat light to turn on at 6 am when the sun rises, and I turn it off at 6pm there will still be natural light coming in until 8 or 9 during the summer. Should the heat lamp be turned off at 6pm...

Thanks for the links and information. A question about the timer for the lights, what time do you have yours set for? My place starts getting natural light early in the morning, should I set the heat lamp to go off then or a little later?
