    "Normal" coloring for female Jackson

Hi congratulations on your new chameleon. I have a female Jackson's as well, I've had her close to a month. She is often the same color as your girl, she doesn't seem stressed, she drinks, she eats, seems happy yet she's typically that color (look at my avatar). She turns lighter when she's...

Finding a mate for my Jackson

A chameleon stud service....this is a good business idea lol. As long as the female is receptive and they copulate correctly....her gestation would typically be around 7 months for a Jackson's. They give birth to live young so the owner of the female would have to be prepared with space to move...

    early bed time?

I have my female Jackson's on a 6am-6pm cycle and by 4:00pm she's at her favorite sleeping spot and has her eyes closed. No matter what she goes to sleep around 4pm. It kind of upsets me because I never get to see her awake and active when I'm home from work... Why does she sleep so...

    Angelfish!

Just wanted to update anyone who was interested on what's going on. The fry are doing GREAT, they're 9 days old now, and free swimming active little ones. They're eating freshly hatched baby brine shrimp. I'll take a pic soon. Thanks for all of you who convinced me to save them :)

    OMG noisey crickets!!!

That's very interesting. Then I guess ripping off those bad boys back legs would be a solution. I can feed them to my venus fly trap. I'm messing, I'll just suffer with the chirping, I can't bring myself to mutilate innocent insects....they don't have the brightest future ahead of them as it is...

    OMG noisey crickets!!!

Who needs the sounds of nature CD's when you have a live orchestra in your bedroom. lol Swayne8998- Are you sure they make the noise with their legs? I'm pretty sure it's with the males wings.....at least part of it is with the wings....no?
