At what age or size should you move your panther chameleon to a bigger cage, we have a 6 month old ambanja male and were just wondering when we should move him up to the biggest cage?
I was also a student athlete in college and I know that we would leave for 2-3 days at a time on the weekends to go to meets so just make sure if that happens to have someone that you can teach to feed/check on the little girl/guy if you have to go away for a meet or anything.
I am also trying to up the humidiy and got some luck by putting a himidifier in the room also i was told to wrap a shower curtain around 3 sides to lock the humidity in which i am trying tomorrow, right now i am airing the curtain out because it smells horrible right out of the package!
Agreed, most of the diseases that we get like the cold and flu aren't zoonotic which means that they can't be passed from aminals to humans or visa versa
sounds like you should read the thread https://www.chameleonforums.com/chameleon-not-using-tongue-hunt-need-advice-50031/
it seems like you have somewhat the same problem
That sounds just like us, constantly checking the thermometer and humidity levels and just being paranoid, my boyfriend also had one die when he had his friend feed it one day while he was at work and he fed it something he found outside and it died, which makes us extra paranoid in just trying...
I feel your pain, i have been trying to look for unusual behavior in my panther chameleon but have only had him since wednesday so I am still trying to learn his normal behavior but people on here are so helpful!!!! Good luck!
the piece was less than an inch long and about the diameter of a piece of spaghetti so it was long and skinny, I will deff be looking for feces than tomorrow or the next day
we picked out all the pieces that were in the dirt that the pothos was planted in so that this cannot happen again and were just wondering if we can do anything to aid in the digestion of the moss piece or if that behavior even had to do with the ingestion.
