It looks like he's just chubby, chameleons have fat pads.. So when they gain weight it only goes to certain parts of their body. They will get fatty ankles and fat on their casque. He's might be lethargic because he is cold, so monitor his ambient temps.
I recently thought my panther was slightly behind schedule on his poop so I just took a clean qtip and dabbed olive oil on the backs of a few crickets and it helped greatly.
Thank you for actually taking advice!
So many new keepers are reluctant to listen to more expierenced keepers.
Personally I have always used MVB's because I like how much heat they give off. But you absolutely have to suspend them above the mesh, even if it's a few inches. It's always better...
A lot of chameleons are weird about the drippers and may not drink directly from it but I can gaurntee she will drink off of the wet leaves. I have a misting system and drippers on my enclousres just incase they are thirsty between mistings. As long as you have a mesh enclosure that drys out...
I'm glad to hear someone who posted in the health clinic not saying they are to broke for the vets
It's a relief to know someone is being proactive with their chameleon seeing the Dr!
Keep us updated on your little guy, I hope he feels better
When I first got my panther he wouldn't poop at all inside his enclosure, I had to get a napkin and put it on my hand because if he sat there for a minute he would poop. So I'm assuming it has something to do with the all around warmth factor. Luckily he grew out of that stage!

Seeing as you have two chameleons you need to invest in a misting system. Spraying their enclosures only helps for a short amount of time. You won't always see your chameleon drink but if she only drinks from the spray bottle every other day- that's why her eyes are sunken. Laying eggs will take...
This seems to be a new issue I'm seeing a lot-
A power sun is Mercury vapor bulb that emits UVB/UVA & so does your 5.0
This is far to much exposure for a chameleon. I would suggest removing the Powersun (mercury vapor bulb) unless you have a way to suspend it above the mesh, they run very hot...
First things first! - I always like to see another keeper from Washington!
It's also a good idea to feed them horned or silk worms, they have a high moisture content.
There is also another solution but PLEASE use caution-
A small slice of strawberry will also help (it's more so common to...
How long have you had her ?
She looks rather dehydrated and as though she is gravid. You may want to refrain from handling her while she's gravid, it may be to stressful for her. She may also want her alone time to dig
Probably something they ate. Get rid of all of them, even the live ones and disinfect the entire enclosure- insides and out! Also watch your chameleon closely to see if they are having any issues.
First things first-
Please fill this out thoroughly and attach pictures of chameleon and their enclosure

She is more than likely sleeping to help fight off the infection. Which means it may have caused a respiratory infection. Maybe schedule a follow up for tomorrow if you haven't already. Also what did the vet prescribe ?
Lastly, will you please fill this out thoroughly and post pictures of your...
If that's true then screen shot the email and post it on the fauna classifieds board of inquiry. Obviously this forum frowns upon bad mouthing of any sort nor would the moderators want to clean up the mess.
You can use soil if you wish, it just has to be 100% organic/ natural. Maybe a bag of worm castings would work. The biggest issue with dirt is the drainage issue, so you will want to purchase play sand from a craft store ( not Petco because it's more than likely a variance of calcium based sand)...
