I have an unbred female and the last week or so she has been digging all over the bottom of her enclosure. Whats going on with her?

My male has shed 3 times since I got him a couple moths ago. My female of the same age hasn't shed yet.

oh jeez. I turn off the UVB and white heat lamp, but I turn on a red heat lamp. My house temp is about 72.

What about darkness? Should they get some dark time?

The container are for catching drips from the mister. The basking light is a bit off of directly overhead.

I've read different views on this subject. My opinion is that no substrate at all would be the way to go. Easier clean up, less chance of mold and bacteria. Other than aesthetics, is there a need for substrate at all?
