I would add some more branches for climbing, specifically belowing your basking light so your chameleon can self-regulate its tempurature by moving from the higher to lower branches.
Definitely do the shower thing and turn down your mister. In fact Screameleons only recommends you use the mister 4 times a day for 30 seconds at a time. Good luck.
Could be a respiratory infection. They are not uncommon with chameleons.
Double check your husbandry. Is your enclosure warm enough under the basking area, too cold at night, too wet etc?
