I am not well and found out that i have an upper respiratory tract infection, just wanted to know if i could pass this on to my chameleon, trying to avoid doing so etc. Any advice thanx.
I had a cricket under the floorboards in my living room once, it made it all the way from upstairs, down the stairs and down a hole next to a radiator. In the end managed to hoover the little bugger out! after 2 or more weeks of chirping!
Get a piece of paper and cover it in double sided tape, leave it on the floor under a lamp. then turn all the lights out in the room. the cricket should be attracted to the light and heat, and get stuck to the sticky tape hopefully or lie and wait if not and squash it!

Found an advert for an estabilished breeder on reptiles web classified, saw their website, rang up, went to visit and bought my cham from gatwick reptiles (UK)
My cham fell off the top of my wardrobe when he was about 6months old. the wardrobe is like 7 or 8 feet tall! he was so lucky he fell down with a soft toy, which he landed on, he sat there stunned for a min, b4 getting up n walking around casually like nothing ever happened!
They can hide in the weirdist of places, think like a cham and as others hav said b4 behind curtains, behind boxes, look up high etc.
