These are the ones we took when we first brought him home. Don't have any others yet.

No, he has never had a calcium shot. I am doing calcium every day and a multi vitamin dusting a couple times a week. They didn't figure he would survive, he was pretty bad. It sounds like we are doing about the same things and mine is gaining strength and gained 4 grams. I would just baby him...
Sorry he didn't give you better news. My boy is the same as yours and thats what I am doing for mine. On a up note, my little stupid is getting better slowly. I hope you will have good results too. I have read everything I could find and its been no help so if you find anything let me know.
I love the name. Any amount of sunshine is good for him and sounds like you are doing great. I am interested to hear how things go with the vet, please let me know. Good luck today.
Not sure a sprained tongue has anything to do with MBD. Mine has serious MBD and no problems with his tongue at all. I read tongues will heal on their own in a couple of days but not totally sure. Hopefully someone will jump in with good info.
I can't find fire cracker plant on the lists of safe plants I found but it would be a nice one for him. I googled plants for chameleons and found some lists you may want to try it. I don't remember the name of the sites, sorry. I think there is a small list on this site too. I too do not...
I am so glad to hear you got him. He won't be perfect but he can get stronger and more normal than he is now. The prognosis for my stupid wasn't good which is how I got him but he gets better every week. He still has to be hand feed and watered but he is much stronger and alot more chameleon in...
Thats great that you got something down him. Its important to keep him as strong as possible and as everyone has pointed out he will need a vet visit. Please keep posting on how he is doing.
Liquid calcium you have to get from the vet. As for the feeding issue try repta-aid by fluker you should be able to find it at the pet store. If not they should have some type of emergency food you can get. After a couple of days he should eat by hand. It has a syringe and you force his mouth...
First did you remove the plastic cover from your uvb light? I missed it the first couple of days I had mine. Second until you get him to a vet, you need to try and feed him by hand. Mine will sit in my hand and eat crickets also if he stops drinking you will have to force water into him. I got...
Glad to hear you may be getting him. Start him with low plants with lots of vines. Charlies are good for this and are easier to climb while he builds his strength up. Mine was put on pure calcium every day. If you can take him outside on good days for as long as you can, mine will sit on my...
Sorry, don't know much about them. I know they need land and water and eat crickets and mealworms but thats about it. Try googling them and it should pull up the info you need.
I would get him. I can't stand to see them suffer, it makes me very angry. Sorry guys but not buying them and letting them die does not stop the pet store from buying more. If it dies it is a tax write off so they don't care one way or the other. Losing animals is part of the daily business.
I would talk to him politely and ask him how much he would be willing to sell her for and if its more than you want to pay try to talk him down. Since he will never get full price for her and he will have vet costs on her, etc.
I understand your problem. I work at a pet store and a woman dumped a 6 month old cham with the same problem. I adopted him and have been caring for him at home. Personally I would either talk to them about getting her to a vet or taking her, but thats me.
