Agreed that it could have been handled better but the owner probably didn't know that was going to happen. Seemed like he jumped to make sure the cham was ok. Maybe they learned a lesson who knows.

You should be fine but try other feeders mixed in as well. Supers can be nasty especially when the chams are small. Keep an eye out for mealworm body parts in his poop. That may give you a clue he may be getting a little impacted. If its pooping fine you are good.

Just don't over do the meal worms. Both "meal worms" and "supers" can cause impaction. But guess what so can a cricket.

The only recessive is hypo and the mom pictured is a visual hypo so they will all be either 100% hets ,visual morphs 100% het or codom/recessive combo. I hope to get a mix clutch of all the males. 2 months and I will find out,.

Crickets are smelly and not the easiest to breed to size. I would recommend if you are going to breed your own feeders look into roaches. Crickets are pretty easy to breed up to the 2wk size after that it is probably worth it to buy them. If you wanted to experiment buy 1000 pin heads and...
