IF there are no punctures that is a good sign the spots are just brused it will go away keep an eye on your cham for any signs of additional underlying issues. But it sounds like you were very lucky that the cham was not more seriously injured that cat will most likly be more intent on getting...
sounds like a supplementing issue the swelling is most likly edema your should take you cham to the vet and list what you are doing here s it will helps figering out the cause
stickey traps everywere youll have the odd one that gets in a wall and crix all night but i fine the sticky traps are a life saver, also anywhere with moisture will be and attraction to them like piles of laundry, washrooms. I havent noticed dammage of anything by crix.

i breed them and ocasionaly one of the cats jumps on the shelf where they all are i always roll back in my chair and roll over worms that were knocked off. Picking smooshed hornworms out of your chair wheels is not fun at all!
If your shipping next day or 2 day they should do fine, they will be shiped as small worms they handle shipping much better. Just make sure your not gonna get in trouble for importing them they are concidered a pest and if they are not native to your country it will cause issues.
look into sprinkler timers at any harware or garden center they will do what you want and can be connected to any system with proper modifacations if needed.
in the summer you can feed them mulberry leaves from a pesticide free source, other then that the artifical chow is a must. I have not found a home recipe that works or is afordible
looking at the last pic the tail base looks like a male to me, but its hard to tell without knowing the species it definatly is a bradypodion species but thats as far as i can say

I lost a rudis chameleon. I dident secure the door properly and looked in and he was gone, i have never to this day found him. I litterly lost a chameleon gone poof.
