I have done tons of research and I am yet to find any concrete "evidence" that they lay eggs even when infertile. I have been dying to know this for sure, my Senegal is almost 2 and no signs of laying. Help??

It is very odd!!! She just had a vet visit and is perfectly healthy. I didn't watch long enough to see if it was stuck because I panicked and helped it out. Very weird though I'll try and catch a pic if she does it again. I can't believe no one else has seen this. Maybe she is "special."

Well I just started giving my 15 month old senegal super mealworms, and she loves them!!!! But twice today I have caught her with her tail halfway down her throat! I feed them to her with bug tweezers & don't let them go free in her cage, but maybe she thinks her tail is a worm? Anyone else...

Thanks guys! I did think it was okay to have her temp drop... Especially for a Senegal because I know they like cooler temps, but he said until she gets better keep her warmer. Also she is mighty pissy since we got home, puffing up and hissing... She hasn't done that since I got her a year...

So my Senegal, Olive, started growing a bump on her head, and while searching around on here, I figured it's an abscess. A very pricey vet visit later... I was right. He drained it, and now I am to give her antibiotic injections. Here's my question... He said that while sick/healing, chams...

Bare Bottom, but I have a plastic tray that my 2 potted plants sit in to catch water. I found the crickets drowning, so now that tray is filled with small pebbles and I positioned my dripper to drip into the plants. No need for drainage in my cage. :)

My WC Senegal looked like that when I got her, all beat up, black bumps I thought were dirt, after a few sheds she is brilliant and like brand new!

When my Senegal was a baby she drank right from the spray bottle... Now she's a secret drinker.

My Olive is a year old, just has had a recent shed and now when she sleeps she has triangles on her spine and polka dots! Other than that she is bright green/yellow and if a big cricket gets too close she will turn black. Then I take that bastard out of her cage.

So my friends were both talking about sending Christmas cards with their dogs on them out... So I jokingly made this! :)

Can my Senegal lay eggs without mating, or is that just other breeds? She is just about a year old. Not getting fat or anything, but just wondering if I should be prepared just in case??? I can't find ANYTHING on here or on the web about this!!!

Thanks, everyone... I was no nervous when reading more in the forums about how hard it is for "newbies" to keep Senegals, I almost considered giving her up... But she is great! She is very friendly and very hungry! lol
