If you dont want to give it back to the pet shop and get a female or get your money back because you feel bad about leaving it there, the sell it to some one that has knowledge about chams and can provide for it. Either those two things or keep em both and love em both :) and buy a female...

I've also used reptiGLO CFL's and it messed up pedro's eyes. I switched to a linear tube ReptiGlo and his eyes cleared up and he was fine once more :p

Are you 100% sure they aren't male and female? Do they both have spurs on the back of their feet now? You can sex them at birth that way and at 4.5 months you can sex them 100% accuratly. Maybe you should post some pics of the feet maybe they are male and female :) If they are both boys...

Agreed. Gentamicin is a very popular and good eye drop for eye infections :/

A month is not a short period of time... if you wanted to observe or do research on veiled chameleons living together you should have prolly just googled it... Now your females tail is messed up, take her to a vet.

OH AND I JUST REALIZED ciproflaxcin is an antibiotic that is given BY MOUTH for humans, I couldn't imagine being in a eye drop form...or atleast Ive never heard of it in any liquid form that goes into the eye... Im allegric to that med :(

Like said above the male and female should NEVER EVER EVER NEVER be in the same enclosure together and they should be seperated ASAP. And the female needs to be taken to a vet RIGHT NOW and hopefully an infection won't spread and she might need the tail amputated but thats the doctors call...

I used reptiglo 5.0 LINEAR tubes with no problems at all. When I first got pedro I used a reptiglo COMPACT BULB 5.0 and it messed up his eyes, after I changed it to the reptiglo 5.0 LINEAR tube his eyes were just fine.

What I meant by that was his fate wasn't with me, Luarie you and Franie both are amazing keepers and I would have felt just the same way if he was with you too :) I didn't mean it like he's better off with franie than you, What I meant is that he wasn't meant to be with me :p
