The edema can be cuase by over supplementing or in gravid females a slight case of edema happens on occasion. I would keep her on the repaid but of she's got mbd a vet might need to give her shot to help stop the process and get her bones strong again and if she's egg bound she will need a shot...

If a chameleon had broken legs I think the vet puts a chameleon cast on it, yes I'm being serious lol. And obviously you'd want to limit the climbing space so there wouldn't be any chance of being injured more from a fall.

Have you tried giving him a shower? Honestly if its been going on for a while a infection could set and he might need antibiotics. Just saying. I'd take him to a vet if it doesn't clear up.

is his mouth swollen? When he gaped does it look inflamed? Could also be mouth rot. you should see a vet asap because mouth rot and uri are both very serious and can be deadly if left untreated.
