i usually just feed the roaches the flukers calcium stuff, and fish flakes and just all sorts of things. i have Reptocal it says d3, its made by tetra if i remember. i never used it but a handful of times... i have never had any probs with my chams health. is there a whole chapter on chameleon...

does a good gutload for say a cricket or roach cancel out the need to dust them? in the wild they dont get dusted, seems strange...

i got one of those small digital therms, with the cord and "probe" i assume you would call it. i just check the temps about once a month or so, to make sure the bulbs placement hasnt slipped. i also do it when replacing bulbs. but i never leave it in there, id be afraid the cham would wanna eat it

id do it, just like you said heavily plant it and make sure they both will have a little "hide corner" they will also need their own basking bulbs at each end of the cage and so that they cant see each other. and own feeder cups if you use that method

i called LLL and they just told me it was marketing thing, i looks and the colr bandwith on the box and all the numbers and lines match. the bulb itself does say iggy 5.0.

try a bird cage, thats what i keep my cham in... i tihnk it was originally for a parakeet... i actually found it dumped on the side of the road took it home powerwashed it and spray painted it it looks awesome. 2x2x4 its real good size i dont tihnk a cham could hurt themselfs on a bird cage...
