thanks for everyone's comment. I have decided not to bring my chameleons with me. there has been a slight plan change. we'll be staying in Japan for about a week. although it is possible to bring my chameleons with me, and I don't think quarantine is needed for the countries that I am heading...

yea. after only a few times, they know that you are not trying to harm them, and it gets easier.
