Yes. It's funny they have bigger rear legs with thicker bones(? i think). Sometimes i'm horrified if i see his leg moving like a rubber. Thank you for the help!
Yes the uvb distance will be fixed in his new home. I think tomorrow the enclosure will be ready. And the basking.. Somewhere i read that he need 30 celsius. In the enclosure what he using now is very easy to maintenance 30 or bigger temperature. But in his new home its a little bit harder. I...
I hope its not. He using it normally and very active during daytime.

Okay, i upgrading to reptibreeze xl and will make the basking branch lower. I would buy a dragon strand one but it's not available in my country.
Thank you for the help. And also thanks to everybody who helped!
i think you don't remember but you answered that in my last thread too. I said its 12 because the top of the cage have very dense screen. His light just go off, so i cant take a picture from the enclosure but i attach pictures from my last post.
The temperature and nothing else don't changed from yesterday. I don't think basking 30 celsius and anywhere else 26-27 celsius is that big. And after i covered the one side of the cage where he crawled he stopped it immadietly and went back under his uvb. I turned back his basking and he...

Hi guys, i posted lately a thread about my chameleon (Ramusz) wanted to come out and jumped off my hand. He doing okay until now.
Just happened: Ramusz went down to the bottom of his cage and wanted to move somewhere very badly. I don't think for sure, but he don't showed scared colours ( i...
Thank you for your answer. I use 12% because the screened section is too "dense". I will replace the analog to a digital one for sure, its just a momentary solution.
Thank you for the reply helps me a lot. Now he is doing okay btw. He just ate the second meal today, moving around fine. No puffing no hissing. But i still didn't know why he run like that out of his cage. He never came out to my hand before without food.
The maximum temperature in top of his enclosure is 33 maybe 34. I fixed that with turning off his heat lamp. Now he has 29-30 at basking spot. And he is under his uvb now, so i don't think he overheating. And he never opened his mouth for cooling down. I considering moving his cage from the window.
I know screen cage is better for veiled chameleons but i don't think this would cause the problem. I open the doors very often for ventilation. The humidity good too. No signs of being sick. His colour healthy, he eating perfectly. His moving is normal. Fecal healthy too. Thank you for tagging!
Hi guys, i'm scared to hell right now.
This is what happened recently:
I saw my veiled chameleon scratching his door. I opened it and he came out to my hand first time. I really happy at that moment, and later on he climbed to my back and grabbed my chair, then go down my chair. After this he...
