I vote panther.... when I kept veileds they were much nastier as far as their temperment and I think there is a wider color variety with the panthers.

I agree with Olimpia, older ones showing their colors are a better bet, as well as hold-backs.

Drew has said several times now in this thread that he now believes Raiden has some cross blood. Enough said.

If Raiden was a cross... as you stated you think he may have been...that would explain the occasional genetic hiccup that shows up as abnormal coloration. Thank you for saying this, it doesn't change the fact that he was beautiful and I wish I had one that looked just like him.

By the way, I am a teacher.... and although I haven't studied reptile genetics, I have worked with genetics in lab animals and would assume some principles carry true from mammals to other species, which is why I want females from excellent bloodlines.
