For me I don't put anything on the bottom, as long as they are vertical they very rarely jump out, well for me at least. Also make sure that the crickets cant get behind the mesh in the cup, and I use an opaque bottle, I had a clear one but my cham would get confused, she would go for a cricket...
I'm in the same situation with my young veiled, Like you anytime I put my hand near her in the enclosure she goes nuts.
1-3 times a week when I come back home from work I take her out and put her in my big umbrella tree for 30-45min, she loves it, She seems to be more relaxed during handling...

Ill probably put one in once I move her to the big enclosure.
Judging from the pics how old do you guys think she is? She about 5" head to tail, my guess is less than 5 months? I don't really know and...
thanks man, shes in a small terrarium for now. I'm planing to get a 2'X2'X4' screen cage once she grows a bit larger, but I can tell shes comfortable with the current setup. I just try to keep it very clean.

As for gutloading I dont put anything in the cup, I feed my crickets 30min-1hour before feeding my chamili. As long as the cricket is placed vertically and have something to climb on too they will pretty much stay in the cup. Its...
I use the Sunny D method mentioned by squeekz1992 it works great. I introduced it yesterday and my cham started using it right away eating 6-8 crickets. They do not jump out at all!
Heres my a pic of baby cham free roaming on my umbrella tree while I was cleaning hes enclosure for the first time since owning her. Some pics of her basking too! :D
She is still hissing and lunging every time my hand is near her! how can I make her like me more?! I want to be able to handle/...
I use a repti fogger for my baby veiled in a 18'"X18"X18" terrarium it keeps the humidity just right, After while of it on the water accumulates and drips from the top, she responds well to it. I see her drinking from the droplets all the time. I use it because its really dry at my place...
Thank for the comments! I will keep everybody posted with the progress! =)
