First time chameleon owner(check out please)

Just wanted to note that once he gets older you'll need to move him into a larger cage... at least 48" high since he's a male.

    Dark Colours

I don't see her drink much but as I mentioned above her urine is normal colour and she has a constant water source. She's shy with drinking in front of me. Her humidity is about 30% when not misting.

    Dark Colours

I think she's trying to be a leopard (the spots on her resemble leopard spots). I came home from work to find her dark brown (solid). I worry about her size. She seems small/thin. Is it just me? P.S. I'm not sure exactly how old she is but I've had her for a year so I'm guessing one and a...

    Dark Colours

My female veiled chameleon has been showing her dark colours for a few days now only getting brighter when she's sleeping. What can be causes of this?

    Our Kids

This is my female veiled. Her name is Shylah. I got her a year ago. Not quite sure how old she is though as I didn't get her as a baby. She's a bit mad at me because I interrupted her sun tanning. And.... also our newest baby. He's a five month old male Panther with beautiful...

    My New Ambilobe Setup

I use a plastic container to catch my dripper's drips. No drainage system required. Just place the plastic container under the dripper (make sure it's going to be big enough to hold all the water) and cover the top with some screen (use an elastic band to hold the screen on). This way the...

    Girly Veileds...

My female is exactly like that too... anytime you're near here enclosure she darkens and puffs up... can't hold her at all and I've had her almost a year now. I think she has PMS 24/7/365!

    Mouth is open while basking

LLLReptile... I just got my new aluminum screen cage from them and it's fantastic... Shylah loves her new home... I couldn't find anywhere else that had the kind of prices they do. I even went to the local petstore where I get some of my supplies and she even said she's never seen a cage like...

    Humidity

I can't seem to find information on an acceptable range for humidity levels... I'm seeing people saying what their levels are but no one indicating whether or not they are acceptable levels. I checked raisingkitty website but only found temperature info, nothing on humidity.
