Throwing in the towel .. It's been several weeks and apparently he doesn't wanna be found .. Can't help but look into that tree everytime I come home, leave, go to sleep, go outside, all the time I look and stare at that tree feeling empty . . . .

yea but then that might be beneficial, because if he starts moving, i'll know just look for the suddenly moving branches, get an eye on him, and then ya know how to plan your chase
problem is i've been in there nearly every day and no movement, no sightings, no nothing! thats why i think he...
i'll try maybe climb IN the tree and take some pictures form the inside out? but i dont know about the zooming in more i think that mighta been full zoom already . . .
Thank you sooooo much! i've been looking in the tree but not successful thus far, but you guys are doing really good narrowing down the area for me! its been pretty hot today and yesterday so iv been hosing down tthe tree and hopefully thats keeping him in the willow and not wandering off

Also, does anybody know if a chameleon would be inclined to go into a piney-tree? like the ones with pines, kind of like a christmas tree? i'm not sure if the pines would harm the chameleon, so i dont know if i should bother looking in there because i dont know if he would venture into those...

yea, i've been told that they look for a tree that provides them with sufficient food and water source
This is all fine for females, but supposidly males also keep moving in search of a female
So, i figure since i hose down the willow daily and put a supply of crickets up there and keep...

Does anybody have any knowledge of how chameleons act in the wild?
For instance, if a chameleon initally inhabits a tree, would he be inclined to move to another tree?
Also, is there any ways of luring a chameleon? All of this information is for a good cause, so i can...
You shouldn't be force feeding the chameleon fruits and veggies through a seringe, thats not the proper approach. The idea of forcing the Cham to eat this way alone would explain how he was hurt.
You SHOULD however keep vegitables accessable to him, preferrably pinning greens to the branches...
