I love happy endings, I can't believe the tremendous care she's in! Honestly if it wasn't for your quick actions in a terrifying emergency and all your time and effort and love, I shudder to think what would have happened. She's an extremely lucky gal to have you at her side! She looks lovely in...
I thought this would be a fun, good idea. I wanted to start a thread of various photo's of the enclosures we set up for our beloved chameleons. If you would like to share pictures of the cages you have set up, please feel free to share.
At my house, we have a plethura of tomato plants growing and if you look, you can see dozens of Hornworms (tomato worms) crawling all over them.
I've read up and "supposidly" though hornworms are a delicacy, the tomato plant itself it toxic to chameleons and thus, hornworms that feed on the...
My veiled of 3 years has a similar reaction with me. Since i got him, i as the only one to feed, water, and handle him. Thus, he only seems to trust me and walks onto my hand without difficulties. However, whenever one of my family tries, he will puff up and his. I definitely think they...

My heart really goes out for you and your little girl, must be tuff having to see her like that . . . Best of luck to you both! I'm keeping my fingers crossed

Oh also add that I have a dimmer fixture so I can turn down the heat and light a bit which helps regulate temp too, but as you said I'll go out and try to find the bulbs you recommended
Yea those are just temporary I have them positioned high off the cage so the temp is around where it should be for now but I'm gonna take a run out and find these linear bulbs everyones talking about. Where can I find them do you know?
Thanks alot! I'm gonna try the extra spraying so hopefully the water will flush out and if it's not looking better I'll tru the saline drops (I wear contacts so we have plenty of that solution around here)
thanks alot!
Thanks, i liked the names too. And no, she isn't from a pet shop. But as i said, i'll run out for a linear tube soon as i get the chance and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for the tips though!
Alright thanks, i'm hoping she'll come around and this is just temporary ='( wishful thinking i know. But yea, i only really handle her just to get a better look at her eyes, because i know handling will only do more harm then good. Tomorrow i'm too busy to even run out to find a bulb, but when...
