Okay, so now my old pygmy is trying to climb glass walls to get out of the enclosure, since I added the new pygmy. It never did that before... could this be a sign they are both male?
You may not be able to tell by the picture, as they aren't very good... they both have pretty spikey dorsal crests...one of them is slim and smaller and is displaying multiple lateral stripes, but has a shorter tail... the other has a more rounded dorsal crest, more subdued colors, but a longer...
I just added a new pygmy to my collection, and I need to make doubley sure that I don't have 2 males. The new one is supposed to be a female. I have read so much information, and now I feel like they could both be either one, and I am so confused a frustrated. :mad:

I got mine from "Dooley1" He seems to be the go-to guy for carpets... I don't know if he has any at the moment, but he may know of someone who does. I am looking for a boyfriend for my female so they can have babies :) So, let me know if you find some! :)
I love my female carpet! She has been such a joy to have. I had a veiled before, and their care is similar. She isn't very picky, and just enjoys plenty of water. I usually mist her twice a day and she has a drip system also. I would say definitely go for it! :D
