In for a bad winter, advice?

VA is in for a predicted terrible winter, including a few blizzards. My family can't afford to get a generator that would work for our house size. When I had Karma the winters were very mild and the power only went out for a couple hours, he was small and the most docile chameleon ever, I could...

Heheh I like creepy things, but if one escapes I'll be sure to lure it to my nextdoor room, my sister's. :D Any advice on the silks? Watched a few vids on them but none have coccooned yet.

    Guide to breeding panthers

Introduce them, if the female gapes do not put them together. If she does nothing put them together but monitor them closely, you don't want any fighting. They're less territorial if you use a plant that is in neither of their cages. Take them apart when the deed is done.

Took a quick one since I haven't shown him a mirror in months, figured I'd check how his flame is. He's not the extravagent neon most Ambanjas are, but he's still handsome! His legs look weird in this pic but it's not MBD, just the camera.

Yea they are turning into those. Assume a mesh LLLreptile cage could work? Where can I get a nectar mix? How long should they take to hatch?

    Breeding horns?

My hornworms have turned brown and hard, which I'm assuming they're not dead and just getting ready to moth up. What do I do with them so they lay eggs and how do I get those to hatch? Waiting for my silkies to make their coccoons.

    How long?

I'd like to add that you should make sure you know everything you can about chameleons and breeding before you even consider it, and have owned them awhile. Even experts can mess up.

How important is removing left over crickets?

They'll chew on him while he sleeps and that can actually do pretty bad damage.
