Thanks ferretinmyshoes. I will try to get some dandelion leaves. I am planning to switch to dry guyload next week with grounded sesame seeds and raw uncooked sunflower seeds.
I put 2 pieces of baby carrots and a slice of orange in the cricket cage yesterday. The orange is almost gone but 2 carrots seem like not being eaten. Is orange alone good enough for guyloading? Thanks.
I am wondering if my digital hygrometer takes the reading accurately...
After more 2 mins mist and the humidity is just barely reach 50% (I have a screen cage)!!! And it drops right away to low 40's within 15 seconds... Is this normal?
I am trying to give Moody a cup feed training again today. Would it be easier to have him out of the cage and bring him towards the cup with crickets?
Yes, I do believe this cage is a bit bigger to him in the mean time. He just explored the upper half of it and he is sleeping on...
Thank you guys.
Moody is my first chameleon and my wife loves him very much. :)
I picked him up today from Chroma Chameleons (sponsor breeder in this forum). The owner is a very nice & friendly guy, and he showed us his cham collections. :D
Thanks Mellow. I asked forum members to post pics of their enclosures which gave me some great ideas. :D
I tried to cup feed Moody this evening but he just ignored it. Hopefully he would be settled and start eating again very soon.
Any advises on how to cup feed a cham successfully...
@chameleoman. Thank you for your advice. Hibicus has been repotted with organic soil, and leaves washed with soap water and rinsed. I bought some river stones but have yet to put them on top of soil. :p Few more artificial plants will be added later. :D
Thanks lindawaz.
Hi all,
While I am still waiting for my baby veiled chameleon, I would love to have some ideas of decorating my screen cage for him. Much appreciated if you could share your setup. :D Thanks.
PS I already bought a pot of hibicus, some artificial jungle plant and vines.
