Well first off welcome to the forums and you certainly came to the right place!
Your new cham may be still scared, imagine yourself being picked from your home and put into a small cage. ^_^ He may just take some time to adjust to his new surroundings to start eating. There are lots of care...
We only give 1 treat a day at the most, and it's a raisin or something cut down to around that size, we also get the dandelion treat things and she goes crazy for those.
She could be adjusting to her new enclosure/surroundings, give her some time and just keep offering food, maybe some meal worms/wax worms or something in a small feeder dish that you can leave in there..

You were right it was night time temps. I know you weren't trying to start anything by your post I was just trying to post before going to lunch. Did not see that OP was from NJ and not sure about temps there... people here are very crafty..maybe build something to hold a basking lamp while...

Anyway, Thanks! I really should look into seeing if it's an infection.. He seems to be opening his eyes again though after I spent 2 hours with him outside... so not too sure what to make of that... :confused:
I haven't had any fecals done on him either...
