That's a damn nice chameleon you have there. I'm no expert, but I think you should elevate the lamp just an inch or two above the top so he doesn't burn himself by accident.

You're right-I do have a pygmy chameleon. Plus, he's gotten better-maybe he was just lazy because he was full, just like we tend to be.

I'm honestly not sure how old he is, but I have been feeding him 6 or 7 fruit flies a day. And, at his size, they're just the right size for him. I've been keeping the conditions right the whole time I've had him.
