thanks for the replies jann and kplatvoet! More feedback still appreciated from anyone else, whether you've had one or more of these guys. Thanks!

Sad thing is, people believe what they wanna believe. For instance, the "fact" that "a smaller cage is better because its easier to keep heated". That sounds sooo appealing. The average person thinks to themself "smaller or larger cage?" SMALLER DUH. and thats why chameleons die... :(
So I'm lightly considering getting one of the 3 and I just wanted to hear from some more experienced members who have kept some of these. Which ones tend to be more cool/pretty/colorful? Have you had any success housing more than one in the same enclosure? Are any of them easier to care for in...
This is definitely something to consider. I personally haven't had this issue. I just resort to humidifiers because this winter has been especially dry and my room has been between 22 and 30% for the past 3 months (if I don't have the humidifier running). But a shower every once in a while would...
That is quite a lot of questions, many of which can be answered by looking around on the forums a bit. I'll try to answer some of the more important ones right now. First of all, 100w seems a bit much for basking, I would take it down to maybe a 50w, that's what I use. It doesnt need to be...

This one is from home depot. Looks perfect to me. Just wanna make sure it wont be too small or anything, cuz it says dwarf. Sry if I'm not supposed to advertise outside of our sponsors.
Thanks for the reply Jan! I feed him crickets and meal worms, and recently waxworms (which he seems to have taken a liking to). I gut load crickets with either carrots, apples, lettuce, kiwi, or grapes. Pretty much whatever is in the fridge at the time. I gut load the meal worms with just some...
I havent posted in a while. I recently purchased a new Nexus 7 (tablet) so now I can take some decent pix. This thread is from when I just got my baby when he was 3 months old https://www.chameleonforums.com/miharu-has-arrived-108863/
These pix are from now, at apx. 8 months old. His name is...
LOL, shikamaru, he's my favorite character. "One of his shows"?! Naruto, duh. My signature is actually a shikamaru quote... Congrats btw on your new babies!
Can someone either direct me to a previous thread or just tell me how to keep mealworms? Can you put them in the fridge so they hibernate or something? What/how do I feed/water them? Thank you!
Sounds like possible impaction to me. These are the behaviors my veiled began exhibiting a few weeks before death. Maybe try to mist him with warm water or feed him some horned or silk worms.
Aww man, that didn't last long. I was really hoping for a happy ending on this one. At least you didn't have enough time to form any sort of bond with him. Regardless of the outcome, you should be commended for doing what you could. Sorry for your loss. =/ Happy keeping!
I like code geass, haven't seen the others. My favs are Nabari No Oh, Death Note, Air Gear and Ergo Proxy. I think you should check out Nabari No Oh, it has a lot of similarities to Naruto but I honestly think it's a little better. My cham is named after the main char, Miharu.
Yeah, I'm into anime/manga as well, my signature is my favorite anime quote (credited to Shikamaru). I heard Vampire Knight is good, haven't checked it out yet though. I know what I'm doin during my road trip tomorrow. ;)
