I have a female Veiled cham she is now about 10 months old or so she is going to be laying her first clutch of eggs (infertile).
So, first off, I'm wondering about how long from the time she starts changing to a gravid coloration and begins showing a bulge untill she will actually begin digging...
ok, She's only been on this schedule for a few weeks or so, I doubt there has been any real harm done. She has eaten a total of about 4 or 5 pinkies. Thanks. :o
She has a dripper which drips almost nonstop onto her pothos plant. I also give her a shower twice a week (in the shower) and try to mist her every day. She drinks occasionally from the pothos leaves but has always hated misting sesions. She just closes her eyes and hides. And yes, I have tried...
it's un-natural? Can you elaborate? What is natural? If she is being over-fed what bad things can result? How often should they be offered pinky mice?
Thanx.
My 10 month old female veiled chameleon loves collard greens, kale, and romain lettuce. She will eat as much of any of the three as I give her in one sitting . I usually feed her a very small pinky mouse, 6-8 wax worms, and 8-10 gutloaded crickets sprinkled with her vitamin/mineral powder...
I had alot of the substrate left so I filled a blue detergent bucket to the brim and placed it in there along side the aquarium as well. I was thinking about starting the tunnel for her, just a few inches deep, is this a good idea or not?
My female veiled is now about 10 months old and I'm wondering what types of signs typically indicate egg production. Should I have a laying bin in her cage just in case?
Thanks

Kimmun, you should re-evaluate then try again! There is 'bad advice' here and there but the great thing about this forum is that each and every posting is scrutinized by litterall "experts" nearly immediately in most cases. Bad advice or incorrect information is generally "routed"...
jeesh
 your mean JJ. Anyone that has followed Kimmun's posts should understand that this was not her fault. She never claimed to be an expert although seems to have demonstrated reasonably advanced husbandry skills. I'm just saying that Kimmun obviously isn't the idiot that you are so...
sorry thats just a rediculous statement. (sorry if i didn't pick up on the sarcasim) but, you can drop a 5 lb weight on my head from just 4-5 feet above my head and I'm unconcious and bleeding. There is NO spider in the world that could take that........................... see what you've...
