I bought a Habba Mist automatic mister for my baby panther chameleon, and it has managed to be a huge pile of crap and not work at all. I am starting a new job tomorrow and won't be home for 8 plus hours. Will he be okay if I mist really well in the morning, and have 2 drippers set up for him...

This was measured at his normal basking spot, where he sits most of the time. Right at the top of the screen is probably measuring higher. His second poo wasn't so normal though, there was hardly any of the urate on it....just a yellow dot. (Today's poo)

I just noticed a second poop a minute ago. I'm assuming it was from today because it wasn't there yesterday. The brown part is normal but there's almost no urate on it....Just a yellow dot.

Well his favourite spot is at the top in one corner of the cage, but its not directly under the lamp. You said you're not positive he's dark because he's cold? What else do you think it could be? Just stress? I was having a hard time when I got him, some people were saying that 80 is good...

One is in the top right of the cage ad the other is in the bottom right....he also loves to hang from the top of his cage, I have to lights propped up a few inches but will the heat from it be too much when hes hanging from the roof? Or will he be okay?

I'm just using a regular household 60 watt bulb. Two of them right now. I was thinking of buying one of those ceramic heat bulbs, but they're quite expensive and there seems to be mixed reviews on how well they warm up the cage.

I just moved to a new city with my 3.5 month old Nosy Be male, and we went from being upstairs into a basement room. It is a heck of a lot colder down there, but I have a space heater in my room as well as an extra heat lamp on his cage. His temperatures are around the same as the old house...
