I have read these should be replaced every six months as they start to lose their effectiveness. Would keeping them nine months to a year be okay?
Also, these bulbs are a bit pricy in my local pet stores. Any alternatives or cheaper places to look for them???
Thanks a bunch :D
I used to play WoW until Skyrim came out and sucked my life away ;)
I still play TF2 occasionally and I have heard good things about Tera, so I might check that out.
I walked into Petco yesterday and saw a few cool reptiles. I wish my cham was more friendly, he would definitely win if I brought him in ;)
Congrats on winning the ribbon!
You have got to be the coolest teacher ever! Those ninjas are lucky to have had you this year. And next year, all the incoming fourth graders will be so excited when they see Fuego and find out they get to be ninjas too!
One thing I would like to add; make sure you have plenty of plants, vines, etc.
Since I added more vines and foliage my Jackson's seems happier and is a lighter green more of the time.
My cham hasn't eaten out of the cup I have placed among his vines. I tried both crickets and mealworms but to no avail.
Also, I want to try handfeeding to get him more used to me and my presence. Any advice on that front?
Thank you both for your condolences.
:) He also had a blue belly like his name suggests.
He was wild caught in the foothills near my house. He did very well in captivity for over a year. I am unsure of how old he was but from the info I was able to find online I think he was an adult...
Thanks everyone, I found these replies to be quite helpful :D
I want to keep them outside because I do not want little cricket escapees running around my house. Also the noise would get old fast.
