Welcome to the forum :)! On the question about securing the branches... I didn't attach my branches w/ anything, just wedge them from one side to the other & the screen holds them up. I had a large piece of grapewood in my chams cage but was told by another forum member, who used it as well...
Smaller then that from what I remember. They are just like the ones you see if you have a piece of fruit go bad except the don't fly (make sure you buy the non-flying kind). He love them so much most of them would be gone pretty quickly. They go up the side wall of the cage & your lil one will...
I have to be honest they wont fly around your house but you will have a few escapees. My husband & I, especially the hubby, couldn't wait until we were done giving my cham them. The rewards for the cham were worth it & it's pretty cool to see him going after them... every entertaining to watch...
That cage comes from Sandfire Dragon Ranch, if you go to there site it's only $89! I think they also have the drip tray for sale there for underneath their cages, if I remember right they where pretty cheap too I think they were like $25 & in the accessories category.
OMG ((tears)) I just watched the video he is really suffering, you need to get him to a vet ASAP. So sad. :(:(:( There is nothing that can help other then a vet immediately... he is suffering. Don't push him to walk, looks like that is pretty painful for him. Please post back after you take him...
Wow thanks for all that info... very helpful! Bug juice will be next step if needed (I keep hoping he'll just start eating) & then instead of the carnivore I will get the insectivore to have it on hand just in case of a worst case scenario. Thanks again ferretinmyshoes :)
I haven't went there yet (no free range set up... yet), but it's becoming more & more scary to do especially after that adventure story, thanks :p Lol. My gosh they take over our lives & now our homes too ;):)
Wow that was some adventure he had... make you think, better keep looking down when your walking & if he's free ranging. That must have been scary. Maybe rise off his feet/ spray him down with some water if you didn't already. I guess not much else you can do I suppose. Also it's sounds like he...
I know what your asking and am wondering myself... how long can a cham go w/o eating before it becomes serious? Should you wait & maybe they will become so hungry that they will eat or will they poss not eat & die?!?! I have a young cham too but not nearly as young as yours... mine is 8 months...
Wow... throw them up!!! Crazy. I was surprise to see that the carnivore care only lasted a week after opening & had to be refrigerated. Refrigerated understandable but the 1 week expiration came fast & I barely used any. I wish I knew about freezing it as Laurie stated in her reply. Next time I...
I thank you for reminding me... after reading your reply I took mine out of the fridge & gave Diego a drop today. He finished his antibiotic Monday so I figured it wouldn't hurt to try a round of this for a week. Thanks again :)
