    Heating and misting

Thanks for the info. I will monitor to make sure everything dries up between mistings. I'm pretty sure they will with 2 hours in between. I was reading on here the other day that most chameleons don't seem to like the mistings unless they are hand misted with warm water. My little guy...

    Heating and misting

I received my 4 month old Panther chameleon last week and I have a couple of questions for you guys. I have a 2X2X4 reptibreeze enclosure with Mistking nozzles in the back 2 corners and a rain nozzle on top of the cage. When the misting system comes on, my little guy loves it. He either...

Quick question for a new Grandfather

My daughter got "Mango" today and he is hanging out in his cage. He is turned sideways under the heat lamp. It looks strange. Is this ok? I know I'm being paranoid, but I just want to verify this is normal behavior. Thanks.

    Dubia Humidity

My new dubia colony is around 90-92 degrees, but the humidity is falling. It's down to around 25% right now. Where should it be? I added a cup of water to the tub with screen over the top to try to raise the levels a bit. Good or bad idea? Thanks.

    Basking help

Can you recommend a good infrared temp gun? I bought a craftsman and tried it yesterday and got a wide variety of temperatures at the same spot. My wired probe thermometer said 90 and the temp gun showed everything from 78-85.

    Basking help

Wow. I didn't know that. All the pictures I've seen of people's setups look like the basking light is sitting right on top pointing down. Thanks for the info.

    Basking help

I am setting up my enclosure for a baby (3-4 month old) Panther chameleon I will be getting in the next couple of weeks. The cage is a reptibreeze 2x2x4. I have been buying bulbs left and right trying to get the temp right. I have 3 branches under the basking light at 7.5 - 10 inches below...
