guys I actually made some pretty decent progress with Leon! I was on my knees so he was looking down at me and I held my hand out slowly and eventually got 3 of his arms on my hand after 45 mins of sitting frozen! he didn't even hiss once! I think he's beginning to trust me and I am very happy...

hahaha thank you! thats one of the main reasons i got an umbrella plant! they fill up alot of space!

okay, so I think I'm going to make my own chameleon cage. it's going to be 2x2x4 I was thinking a square or an octagon... I really like the idea of an octagon would that be bad? or no?

okay so i was going about my daily stuff for my cham and i spilled 20 crickets on the floor i managed to get 7 of them.. but they all scattered.. will they breed? or will they die off?

yeah i got him back in he just seems really nice but not use to me i got him on a stick and then i put him back in his cage he didnt hiss or anything he didnt even change colors like no black or anything so i think hes use to humans just not use to me

okay, I listened to it!! that was honestly so helpful! one other thing so i read something that it streeses the chameleon when you open the cage and stuff so i left it open for alittle bit and then i noticed he was on the cage screen on the out side of the cage? is this bad? does he not like it?

okay yeah because i did also notice that he hides under the plants alot where the "coldest" parts of the cage is... the basking spot is about 90 degrees and the rest of the cage is about 75-80 is that too hot? and the humidity is generally 70 ish

I am also having a similar problem when I mist my cage my chameleon opens his mouth and I spray some water in his mouth and he swallows and he does it a couple of times... I just thought it was a little odd.. is it? (this is my first chameleon and I got him yesterday from fl chams he's a sub...
