My first is a veiled I got about 3 weeks ago. A rescue from a family that had just lost interest. Very malnourished but he's coming along nicely! Thanks to this site and all the helpful people here.
Agreed! I've been on a lot of forums (non cham related) and this is the nicest most helpful one I've ever seen. Kudos to the regulars on here. You have a good thing going!
lol..yes he is the guy that needs a sandwich. Good memory JC.. I will try the vitamin A and see how he fares. Again though, can diet intensify a chams coloration?
Thanks for the reptisun 5.0 advice to all those that gave it. I changed lights and the effect on my chams disposition is incredible. Increase in appetite and personality was pronounced. Thanks again!
How close should the Cham be able to get to the uvb light (reptisun 5.0)? Or perhaps the question should be how far away should it be able to get from the light. Don't want to burn him..
Thanks for all the advice to date. This forum is a great resource and the time spent by the senior members helping out the new comers is much appriciated. I will get rid of the compact and get a repti sun 5.0 (the tube). Going to keep the glass tank for a bit though. Not sure about maintaining...
Repti-glo 5.0 spiral. Original owner had it so the Cham could get within inches of it. I have it placed where he can only get within 8 inches. Other light is a basking flood with refelctor.
