Ok, I am going to get a Baby Panther Chameleon at the end of the month (Nosy Be), so I know you need a light that supplies artificial sun rays, and a basking light.
Can anyone recomenend both light fixtures/bulbs I should get?
My cage is all netting, 18 x 18 x 36 (I Believe thats correct)...
I bought the same vine the other day.
Mine is the medium size, but its not too long I do not need to cut it. Feels life like, but is not as stiff as the exo-terra one.
This is the one I got here:

I would like to find a Nosy Be 5-6 Weeks old if possible,
do you think this is too big?
I have read some where in the past that when your chameleon gets bigger you can feed them pinkys, so I would guess like everyone else is saying is correct.
o ok,
they did do that sometimes..because the setup I plan on using is different from my previous one. I have bark and vines etc,
while this time (thanks for the information from this forum) I am putting napkins and a plant (Ficus, and maybe another one) in a pot with vines etc throughout the...
Well when I had panthers and Veild's I put a see through cup attached to the side of the cage by a branch where he would come down and grab a few crickets. He was trained to that really well.
I also put the Calcium on the bottom so the crickets would be mixed in it.
Has anyone done this...
Ok, I went to petsmart and Petco today and they did not have that cage.

I know a netting cage is great for Chameleons, but I honestly HATE the Big black netting ones were you cant see through at all, kind of takes away from it all.
So, I was at Pets Mart (I think) and they had a half glass half netting cage available, and it was not just the lid. Would that be...
I first want to start out with a Nosy Be Panther Chameleon, I have had Panthers in the past.
What would you guys recommend for the bottom of the cage? Someone said not bark, so what else? Astro turf? Paper? whats the best?
Thanks!
I actually do not have a set up now, or any chameleons, I want to get a new one, but convincing the people I live with that the cage will not smell is my first step lol.
I have alwayed been fascinated with Chameleons, and the one I always wanted since high school is a Nosey Be.
So...
Hey everyone, first post.
I have had Chameleons in my past, Veilds where the first, and went to Sambava's etc.
Well the last time I had one, the cage smelled pretty bad. Is there any tips on keeping it smelling fresh for longer? Stuff to ignore?
