I just went out and bought a Ficus to add, washed it up and ready to put in the cage.
She/He has no problem getting crickets, I feed 5 - 6 crickets 2 times a day, and watch him/her eat almost all of them every time.
I do see a little blue on his head (side) and above his/her legs
Yea its looking like a female,
Well I was offered to return it, but I grew attached to her,
All this means is now buying a male at the Reptile Show in Sacramento, and if not there I will be on the hunt
Its been a long time coming, I know I said I would post a while ago, but it took sometime to actually take them.
His name is Cal, after Cal for the 40 Year Old Virgin.
He is a Nosy Be Male, about 3 months old now. Also, if you guys can put some input in on how he looks, healthy? etc...
At a young age you should never cup feed,
let the crickets or whatever your feeding him run freely.
Babies are growing a lot, and as they grow they eat a lot, the cup method you need to train them, which could mean a couple days without eating and thats too long for a baby.
Its...
Yea I think there should be some links/pictures shown so I know exactly what to look for...now I am paranoid!
I have seen him kind of white, but shades of white, he is only (about) 3 months old...
I had this problem too with my baby Nosy Be,
I was told it is harder for them to find food, which can lead to starvation. And with my own observations, with the the humidity and Basking its harder to regulate.
I was watching my Nosy Be Cal while he was basking and for some reason he opens his mouth like he is sucking up the heat. He also rocks on it.
Why does this happen? Does any of your chams do this?
Also I a branch about 4 inches away from the basking light, but its 85 - 86 in the section...
