I would go veiled first. They are way cheaper to purchase and easier to handle for beginners. Chameleons is a HUGE learning curve when it comes to proper care.

don't recommend wild feeding of insects. They could have some sort of pesticide on them or any outside ailments. Feeders bought from pet stores or online are raised free of any outside ailments. just a recommendation for the health of your chameleon :D
