not really but the strip is way way way better. Get 5.0 thats tropical. DO NOT get 10.0 thats desert uv. it may cost a little extra but the bulbs last a REALLY long time and sit beautifully on top of cages. Its the best choice in my opinion.

those bumps are too far apart and don't look like ribs. I would get to a vet asap cause it's really hard to get a good look with out better resolution.

try some of the foam strips you put on your door in your house. The ones that help that keep that air in and have a better sealed shut door. Can find it at any wal-mart or hardware store.

You might have to try force feeding him. BUGJUICE get a syringe with no needle a small one get the feeders add em in a bowl with some liquid calcium,water,eggyolks,and some pedialyte. whiz it or mush it all up and put it in the syrynge and force feed him in small amounts 3 times a day
