    Question?

This is a great idea! Most cham owners in warm areas will make an outside enclosure for their cham. Its a good place to take your cham for basking. Just make sure you dont use UV resistant screening of course.

need help ..is it ok for???

I have to agree with Carol. Inevitably you will probably see your cham get parasites, but playing it safe reduces the risk. I feed my cham WC insects, but very seldom, trying to avoid scavenger insects. Try sticking to the herbivorous bugs, although some say bugs like grasshoppers are loaded...

im worried my cham is still.......

Buy some typar. They wont be able to get through that! Just make an inside pot sized hole, cut to the center and take out just enough space for the plant to grow through and then pile on the rocks.

    housing plants through the winter...

My father brings in a few plants over the winter. They spend time down in the basement with very little care, and do pretty well. It gets to almost freezing down there from time to time and we keep things like mandevillas down there. I would say that with those plants being so tropical that...

    Happy halloween

Nice! Peppers shed for Halloween yesterday too. I was really surprised because it was such a fast shed. I misted his cage, left for two hours, came back, and he had just started. I went downstairs to look for a camera and when I got back up he had rubbed atleast half of his shed off! I sprayed...

    What did u catch

I live in WV and have caught tons of salamanders, muddpuppies, newts, turtles (from accidental snapping turtle snags to hand caught softshells), frogs(tinny little gold and green ones-it kills me that i cant find a name for them up to leopard and bullfrogs), and toads. I really love the orange...

    Turn to be green

Not sure, but I have to say that is the most adorable Parsons I have ever seen! I can't say I have seen many pictures, but baby Parsons are awesome! Edit: I would like to say female though since I see no sign of horn protrusion from its face.

    Our chams won't eat dubias

I wouldn't eat dubais either... gross! I figure they will get used to seeing them and try them out eventually. Yeah those meal worms are pretty fatty, have a lot of chitin due to the thick exoskeleton, which most handlers say isn't very good since it doesn't digest well, and many are oat fed...

    feces

Usually yellow is uric acid building in the feces. Normally it is from slight dehydration. It happens from time to time. If you want to ensure nipping it in the butt, you may try using a pipette for water for a few days on top of your normal schedule. I know my cham enjoys drinking from one...

    throw up?

Sometimes chameleons bop like that and open their mouths as a threatening stance. I may be wrong though. Maybe upload some pictures or some more detail on the issue. Hope its nothing serious.

    Chameleon Halloween Costumes

I was going to turn my cham into Chameleos from the game Monster Hunter, but I decided that my artistic talent has greatly declined. I may add it eventually, but I got frustrated with it for now :D Very nice costumes by the way!

    Pumpkingecko

Here's one! Its based after a picture that one of my buddies drew. The width of the picture rounds the curve so its a little tricky to see whats going on. Ill try to add the drawing and a day time picture tomorrow.

    Cham Pumpkin Carving!

So I thought it would be fun to express my affection towards chameleons with a pumpkin carving! Its inspired by a project a friend of mine had to do for an animation class. Ill try to get a picture of the drawing and a non lit version tomorrow. Edit: I'm sending the image to a post Syn made a...

    Name Changes

No way! I totally made that recommendation as a not incredibly serious suggestion. I'm glad to see someone appreciated it. :D I have seen much more off the wall names than Beldar for reptile pets, and I personally think chameleons look kind of alien. I think its a cool name and have...

    Advice on owning.

Sorry I keep on forgetting to mention stuff... Even if they are the correct bulb, linears lose potency over time. Most recommend replacement after 4-6 months. If you can get your cham some good sunlight (not behind a window) daily, I would not worry about this much at this point, but it is...

My wife and kids found this for me today

Yeah, I had heard this all the time when I was a kid. I guess someone thought that an invasive species was important and started throwing out rumors. I haven't seen the sold, but if you have any bushes around your house you can usually find egg sacks. They are very noticeable, easily broken...

    Advice on owning.

I have to agree with Carol here on the light. Most recommend a 50 or 60w as ther preferred heating bulb. The 100w works great for more arid climate reptiles, but you might end up with burns or unwanted humidity loss with such a strong bulb. Everything else looks great. I would like to say...
