I do not plan on breeding again after the ones we have hatch. @ of ours were born with prolapses and we are hoping to pull them through until they get big enough for treatment. Nobody ever seems to talk about the stuff that can go wrong

I had two like that there were the color of newspaper when juvies and about a year old their color popped and they are two of the most colorful I have so if everything with husbandry is fine and supplements I wouldn't worry about it . I have kept many chameleons but none turned out as colorful...

It depends on the chameleon not so much the species. Veileds and Panthers are good starter chameleons but children or chaotic environments can make them nervous. In my opinion I wouldn't get a 6 year old a chameleon. I would start off with a bearded dragon but I would still wait a few years but...
