Ive always cup or hand fed dubia. I free range crickets. Never had the guts to free range dubias, always had a creepy feeling if they ever got out. haha. The fastest method Ive found is to put the dubia upside down on my palm so its legs are kicking, which snags the Chams attention.
My first male was a NosyBe and I named him Clarence. It seemed to fit and everyone liked it. Then I got him a girlfriend. She was/is super mean So I named her Cleo, after Cleopatra.
Since then Clarence unfortunately passed away. So I got a new Male, he is a Diego Suarez, and I named him...
Well the info news isnt that good. I took her to the vet for xrays. She still has eggs inside her, but there is also a big round mass (looks like an egg but its 4-5 times bigger then an egg) that is showing up on the xray. Its the same density of her bones. So it could either be a HUGE egg...

Hello Everyone.
About 11 days ago my female NosyBe laid her 3rd clutch. (most likely infurtle) she is almost 2 years old. I use a pretty big plant pot for her laying bin that stays in her cage. So she dug and dug and laid 11 eggs all the way on the bottom of the pot. (the pot is about 16...
Most chams dont like to be misted. Ive seen a few that enjoy it, but for the most part it makes mine cranky, and I use a mistking which produces a very fine mist.

Unfortunately I will not be able to do the same pairing again. During my move I was struck with something that I never thought would ever happen. Ever.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. It will be a while before I am over this one. Especially since I just built a HUGE custom enclosure for him in my new place and now it's just half empty.
I didn't have the thermometer in the cage since I was moving. But there was one outside and a slight...
I can't say. But there was a slight breeze and the cage was on grass. I've racked my brain on how this could happen in such a short amount of time. Right before I left I gave the cage a good 5 minute shower.
I just don't know. While at the vet we scanned him over for any bites but didn't...
