I have to agree with the vet comments, but lets all be realistic also. In today's economy, I really doubt your average person who has one small chameleon and paid under $100 for it, is going to even think about taking it to the vet. Not to mention the fact that what is the chance they will...
Oh your just down the coast from me, so outdoor time would be the best scenario for your cham. Mine our housed outdoors for all but a couple months here in Florida (Usually Jan and Feb). No uvb bulb or heat source is gonna beat our great Florida sun!
Good luck with you cham!

For now, the repti glo 5.0 is not sufficient for your chameleon. You...
Saw your post about LLL and was going to reply but it got deleted. I had a very similar issue with them and yes they refused to pay return shipping. One item was not even functioning but still I had to pay to return it. So I feel your pain man! I've since found a much better spot to buy...
You should not leave feeders in the feed cup for more then 12 hours or so. It only takes about 24 hours for them to become nutritionally depleted. A young male should def be eating more then what you say he is. Try free roaming some crickets he may not like eating out of a cup. Some don't.
Just curious if anyone knows what the worms/beetles are that always seem to come with the crickets I order. Funky looking little worms that turn into small black beetles. I'll take a photo if need be, but I am sure someone knows what I am talking about.
Personally I use Schefflera Arboricola or Schefflera Gold Capella combined with Pothos! They are both very full and offer plenty of hiding spots/shade.
