I still learned a lot of new things even though this is not a new thread. I'm impressed with the chameleon first aid kit. My husband found a cricket in the kitchen and never blinked. A few months ago he would've hit the roof.
Does anyone else's chameleon get moody when it's getting ready to shed? My 8 month old ambanja female, Peach, has always been so mellow that she's easy to handle. Not tonight though-she hissed and struck my hand and i felt tiny little teeth too. Looking at her, I think she's getting ready to...
I really have to stop trolling the classifieds here for chameleons because I have a hard time controlling myself. I WANT THEM ALL.
My question is: what chameleon(s) is (are) on your MUST HAVE LIST next?:D
Today I introduced my four chams to roaches. Kraken almost tumbled out of his hiding area to eat his roach. As for the others, I can't tell if they ate theirs or not. The first time I checked, the roaches were hiding.
I am not going to handle those things *shudder*
How can I feed them...
I was going to say that he had his back to me, but DUH....of course he could see me. I just put some crickets in his cage. He looks like he's rocking just before he shoots his tongue.
I noticed sometimes that my ambilobe, Kraken, rocks sometimes when he's perched on a branch in his cage. Does anyone know what this kind of behavior means?
It's been awhile since I've shared photos of my Dr. Gonzo boy that I got from Ryan. I've finally named him. He's "Jekyll", short for "Dr. Jekyll."
Put a hand or a camera near him while he's in his cage at your own risk. Once he's out of his cage, on HIS terms, he settles down right away.
