Worried about my new veiled chameleon!

You said you were feeding him 6 crickets a day. At that size my veiled was eating 10-15 1/4in crickets a day.

    Dehydrated?

I had a Jacksons that would come to the screen every time I misted and would sit there with its mouth open. After reading on the possible issues it would cause, I stopped spraying directly at his face/mouth even though he wanted me to. With my Jackson the misting was enough and he would drink...

    Dehydrated?

I wouldn't recommend spraying water directly at its face. It could open it's mouth and aspirate the water and drown. My cham doesn't drink much from misting. He will stand under the leaf where the water from my dripper drips from and drink from there.

    baby Veiled chameleon help

As long as it doesn't get below 60 she should be fine. If it gets colder you could get a ceramic heat emitter. They go in a regular light socket but only produce heat.

    Baby veiled sleeping all day?

Glad both your chams are doing better. I believe at 1 month the proper basking temp for a veiled is around 82.

    Need some advice!!

My veiled had no problem hunting in a 18X24X36 cage at 2 months old so I think your panther should be fine.

    baby Veiled chameleon help

I see a few things wrong but they are easy to correct. You need the following supplemtns: Phosphorous free calcium without D3 at every feeding Phosphorous free calcium with D3 twice per month Multi vitamin twice per month Gut loading(feeding your feeders foods that are healthy for the...

    sick chameleon.

I would also recommend getting to a vet ASAP. Once her current problems are resolved, you will need a new cage. A 10gal glass tank is way too small for a 1yr old veiled.

Jungle Bob's is great. I'm there every other week. I will go to Petland Discounts in Bayshore if I need feeders in a pinch as it's on my way home from work.

    Baby veiled sleeping all day?

The problem could be the 10.0 UVB bulb. Most here use a 5.0. Especially with younger chams. The wattage is not the issue, it's the amount of UVB they put out. Eye problems could also be caused by vitamin deficiencies. Your not supplementing with any vitamins and your not really gut loading...

My chameleon is drinking from the catch dish

I use a small aluminum baking pan as my catch pan. I cover it with a scren top from a small aquarium to keep my cham and feeders out of the water and to catch any poop. I drain the water and clean the screen as needed.

    Help!

IMHO. In that size cage 2 5.0 bulbs is too much. Too much uvb can be just as bad as too little. At 2 months he should be eating approx 20 small crickets a day and they need to be properly gutloaded. Make sure you get the proper supplements asap. Your cham will grow very quickly over the...

    experienced people please!

Are you getting 2 new cages? You really shouldn't keep 2 chams in the same cage.

My Cham has a problem, can you help!?

Isn't the Repashy meant to be for daily use? Your cham could have a vitamin deficiency if you're only using it every 2 weeks. The vitamin levels are lower than a multi-vitamin as it is meant for daily use.

Health Problem. Not sure exactly. please help

If it has D3 it is still too much. They should get calcium w/o D3 every feeding and with D3 twice a month.

How long will my new cage last?

I know but Karma said it would last 5-6 months and you said it was 4 months old. A veiled needs more than 18in in height at 4 months.
